Open-minded. Practical. Flexible. Empowering. Personable. Professional. These are just a few of the words my clients use to describe me.

I believe in results and doing whatever works for you to achieve success. I also believe in providing you with the most comfortable, pleasant, and enriching experience possible. For example, I am one of few practices offering in vivo exposure therapy outside the office, further highlighting my commitment to your comfort and flexibility. Because of this, my clients tell me that not only do they feel I help them live better lives, but they also enjoy the journey getting there.

My commitment to changing your life for the better doesn’t stop with individuals. I work regularly with businesses to help entire teams and departments succeed by creating a happy and productive workplace. I believe that because so many of us spend much of our lives at work, we should be happy while we’re there. And as many former corporate clients have told me, learning how to cultivate that philosophy pays off in more ways than just financially.

Inside the doors of my practice, you will find a genuine passion for reaching as many people as possible and changing lives for the better. But don’t take my word for it, schedule an appointment with me and find out more for yourself. click here to request an appointment.

My Biography

I have been involved with psychotherapy for more than 20 years. I graduated from California State University with a Master of Science emphasizing counseling and marriage and family therapy. I hold active licenses in California, New York, and North Carolina. I am compassionate and supportive, well versed with research based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), CBASP, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. I always customize my approach to each individual and use specialized versions of the above theories to work with diverse issues such as trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias (fears), mood disorders such as bipolar and depression.

My practice strength caters to individuals from ages 18 to 65, families and relationships. I appreciate the energy and hard work people put into their personal therapy and give all of my effort to support that process. I am multi-lingual, have had diverse cultural experiences, and maintain a strong interest in personal wellness.
