What is Telehealth Therapy?

Telehealth therapy is a type of individual therapy that takes place through secure and HIPAA compliant Telehealth video sessions. This option is best for those who may not be able to meet in person or prefer to have their session in the comfort of their own surroundings for residents of California, New York, and North Carolina.

How does Telehealth Therapy work?

Similar to our individual therapy option, you will be connected with me via the secure and HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform (usually once a week) to discuss the issue(s) you are looking to resolve. I will get to know you and work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs and comfort level, and we will monitor and the advance progress on your plan between sessions.

How do I know if Telehealth Therapy is right for me?

If you think individual therapy is right for you but you may not be able to meet in person or by phone, then Telehealth therapy could be a good treatment option. However, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with one of our professional client service representatives by clicking here in order to discuss what makes the most sense for your situation.

What can I expect during a Telehealth therapy session?

After scheduling your appointment, your telehealth therapy session will take place at a time you and your therapist set regularly. You’ll need a connection to the Internet for your computer or mobile phone. Over the course of your sessions, we’ll get to know you and develop a personalized treatment plan that suits your comfort level and goals for therapy. We encourage you to work on the insights or suggestions that arise out of your therapy in between sessions, and together we’ll monitor progress on your plan to ensure your journey to a better mind and life is successful.
